They want to look up to who?

Today I was on my computer at home and in the background the t.v. was showing Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E, and I started wondering to myself what exactly that family does when it comes to talent. If I'm not mistaken Kim and her sisters all get paid to look good for pictures and t.v., but wheres the talent? I don't understand how these people are getting paid from the media to look ridiculous. I know its mainly for entertainment but, on a network they show how how kids and young adults are getting pregnant and drinking so young and how it's such a huge problem right now. But, those same networks show those kids and young adults people acting stupid and drunk and making it seem like its OK to make yourself look like a fool on national t.v. I'm talking about Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Jersey Shore and Teen Mom. There is this big problem with young adults where they are becoming very rebellious which is causing it to be very hard for parents to control what they are doing. Well in my opinion, I believe networks should stop showcasing these shows like its the norm to act stupid and foolish and being paid tons and tons of money. A while ago Paris Hilton had her own show where she did nothing but walk around with her dog in one hand and a designer bag in the other. Paris was already rich, but my point being is that young adults look up to these people when they shouldn't. I have a little sister who is 12 and I've walked into her room while she was watching Jersey Shore and I made her turn it off. Right then and there I felt like I was doing the right thing. She got mad, but I didn't care. Those shows aren't for the younger generation to look up to. It doesn't make it any better that they aren't getting paid so much to act the way they do. I just don't understand how one hour networks are complaining about teens acting wild and getting arrested when they themselves are showing them the way to making that happen. People can go ahead and say that it's the parents faults and they shouldn't let their kids watch that stuff but no matter what, they're going to find a way to do it.
