The TV show Community took several different moments to really hit making fun of different stereotypes all throughout the first season. All of the characters specifically match a stereotype: An older, senile, racist Caucasian man; a religious middle-aged motherly African-American woman; a socially-awkward, pop-culture-crazed, Israelian kid; a semi-anarchist, buzz-killing Caucasian woman; a perfectionist girl who got pushed over the edge; an ex-lawyer; and an African-American football jock. They all fit into their stereotypes, yet do what they can to also be different.
Throughout the show, ex-lawyer Jeff Winger gives the group several different pep-talks to help them get through whatever conflict that has arisen in the episode. Mostly for his own benefit. He use of words and ability to read those around him is exactly why lawyers are generally hated.
Another character is Senor Chang who acknowledges the fact that he doesn't fit into his stereotype: "Every once in a while, a student will come up to me and ask, "SeƱor Chang, why do you teach Spanish?" They say it just like that. "Why do *you* teach Spanish? Why you? Why not math? Why not photography? Why not martial arts?" I mean, surely, it must be in my nature to instruct you in something that's ancient and secret, like, oh, building a wall that you can see from outer space! Well, I'll tell you why I teach Spanish. It is none of your business, okay?"
Another example is when Jeff is trying to convince Troy to join the college's football team. Jeff gives Troy reasons to be a football player, where Troy responds by saying that Jeff's comment is racist.
